Responsibilities: Product Design & Development Manager (TEMP)

As a PDDM, you will implement sustainable solutions across various projects related to capacity, compliance, crisis management, and outsourcing within the European supply point network. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll collaborate with product developers, factories, and the quality department.

Your main focus will be on business continuity solutions for product compliance within our internal supply chain and third-party manufacturers. You will support the technical implementation stream, engage deeply with technical aspects, and propose efficient trial plans.

Main Responsibilities:


During this 4-month assignment, you'll assist the Secure Product Development team with:

  • Lab and pilot plant experiments
  • Theoretical recipe development
  • Industrial trials and technical support for factories and suppliers
  • Developing solutions and documentation for lab and factory trials
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration among R&I, Procurement, and Operations for business continuity
  • Ensuring product safety and compliance in collaboration with Quality & Food Safety, considering regulatory and consumer aspects.

Requirements: Product Design & Development Manager (TEMP)

• At least 5 years of experience in global R&D functions or process technology functions in factories, preferably in the food industry. Experience with Infant Formula and/or FSMP products is a plus;

• Educational background in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, quality/safety/regulatory or a related field;

• Knowledge and experience in ingredient functionality (i.e., minerals, vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates, flavors, and/or fats & oils), regulatory or quality-related areas in the food industry, preferably with ingredient specification management experience;

• Affinity with dairy food and process technology fundamentals and how to apply these in a practical way;

• Experience with lab work (food-related);

• Experience with SAP systems is a plus;

• Good skills in MS Office. Experience in Power BI is a plus;

• Team player with an autonomous and independent working attitude;

• Structured thinking, ability to break down complex matters, find solutions, and deliver results with excellence in execution;

• Proactive & positive personality;

• Good communication skills;

• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities shift fast.

The offer: Product Design & Development Manager (TEMP)

Through our agency, you will receive a 4-month temporary contract with an external party. 
There is a possibility that your contract will be renewed after these 4 months.  

 

  • Salary will be max. €6500 gross a month based on a full-time position (40 hours a week) and is based on education and experience;
  • 30 annual leave days;
  • Travel expenses will be covered;
  • Pension plan.
