We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations with a background in residential real estate in the greater Berlin area. The Director of Operations will play a key role in enhancing the living experience for residents, ensuring successful operations and meeting resident satisfaction targets. Initially, this role will oversee one residential complex in Berlin. We are looking for a friendly leader with strong mentoring skills, a hospitality-driven approach, and a hands-on mentality focused on resident satisfaction and client returns.

This real estate operator is for the next generation, created to lead the way in tenant hospitality. They work from a guest-oriented approach and make every effort to provide a rich living experience, built on personal connections, frictionless services and stronger communities. Where they started 2 years ago in Amsterdam, they are now expanding to Berlin.

- Overseeing daily operational performance of the business.
- Collaborating with the Deputy Director of Operations to meet objectives.
- Supervising and managing the To Be At team, including goal setting, process development, and performance assessments.
- Participating in the recruitment and evaluation processes for staff.
- Mentoring team members and conducting hands-on training and focused seminars.
- Implementing a financial plan that covers budgeting, cost control, and revenue improvements, while monitoring yearly budgets and forecasts for deviations.
- Researching innovative practices from top-performing companies and piloting new ideas.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Preferred 3+ years of managerial experience.
- Proven track record of staff management, strong supervisory capabilities, and the ability to inspire and develop team members for superior performance.
